ABOUT THIS PAINTING
Summer Afternoon, Donner Lake is an original watercolor by Romina Branje, a Truckee, California artist inspired by the lakes, forests, and mountains of the Lake Tahoe region. This one shows a beach at Donner Memorial State Park, at the east end of Donner Lake, on a clear summer day.
Donner Lake sits in the Sierra Nevada, just west of Truckee and a short drive from Lake Tahoe. It’s a place many people know from a family vacation, a summer cabin, or a road trip over Donner Pass. This print is a way to keep that memory on the wall, wherever home is.
It makes a thoughtful gift for anyone who loves Lake Tahoe, mountain lakes, or the outdoors, and a natural fit for a cabin, a lake house, or any room that could use a little summer.
