ABOUT THIS PAINTING
Rainbow Bridge, Donner Summit is an original watercolor by Romina Branje, a Truckee, California artist inspired by the lakes, forests, and mountains of the Lake Tahoe region. This one shows the arched Rainbow Bridge on old Highway 40, with Donner Lake shining below and the Sierra peaks beyond.
Rainbow Bridge sits near the top of Donner Pass, just west of Truckee and a short drive from Lake Tahoe. Built in 1926 on the historic Lincoln Highway, it’s a favorite stop for anyone driving the old road over the pass, and the view from the granite below is one of the best in the Sierra Nevada. This print is a way to keep that view on the wall, wherever home is.
It makes a thoughtful gift for anyone who loves Lake Tahoe, mountain roads, or the outdoors, and beautiful mountain wall art for a cabin, a lake house, or any room that could use a little Sierra sunshine.
