ABOUT THIS PAINTING
Lupines on the Truckee River is an original watercolor by Romina Branje, a Truckee, California artist inspired by the lakes, forests, and mountains of the Lake Tahoe region. It’s a stretch of river along one of her favorite walks in town.
The Truckee River flows out of Lake Tahoe and winds through downtown Truckee on its way to Nevada. The Legacy Trail follows it through town, and in early summer its banks fill with purple lupines. This print is a way to keep that river close, wherever home is.
It makes a thoughtful gift for anyone who loves Lake Tahoe, rivers, or wildflowers, and beautiful mountain wall art for a cabin, a lake house, or any room that could use a little summer.
